Here is all the information you will need to know about the DSRL 200k Series 1.

The DSRL 200k Series 1 is a non contact sport, with competitors using cars that are built to either LMP2, GT3 or GTE regulations.

Championship Sign Up

All competing drivers are required to sign up for the championship https://thedsrl.forumotion.co.uk/t9-championship-sign-up

Drivers are required to state what car they will use, what number of car and what class they will be running in. Drivers must ensure that the chosen number/livery does not clash with another competing driver.

Race Sign In

To confirm that you will be racing in the next event, drivers need to post 'IN' on the appropriate event thread.

Driver Assists

In this series the following 'Driver Assists' are allowed

  • Traction Control
  • Antilock Brakes
  • Automatic Gears

Any other assists are not allowed and will be switched off by the lobby host.

Points scoring

Points will be awarded to drivers in relation to other cars in their chosen class. Therefore there is a championship for P2 and GTE.

1st - 35
2nd - 32
3rd - 30
4th - 28
5th - 26
6th - 25
7th - 24
...etc

Points will then reduce by 1 point until 30th place. All other finishers will receive 1 point.

There will be 3 dropped rounds out of the 10 that are going to be run in the series.

If a drivers drops out before 5 laps is complete, 1/4 points will be awarded.
If a driver drops you after 5 laps is complete, 1/2 points will be awarded.

Qualifying

Qualifying will start at 8pm GMT on race night. Each Qualifying session will be held over a 20 minute period. The lobby will be set to 30 minutes so that drivers can finish their last laps at the 20 minute mark. Damage will be set on during the qualifying period and  both classes of car will be on circuit at the same time so it is up to the drivers to make their own space.

Race

Each race will be run over a length of 200 kilometres, or as near to as possible.

There will be a rolling start and LMP2 will form up before GTE. An additional lap will be added to the lap length to accommodate for this rolling start. During a rolling start, drivers will line up in rows of two, with the pole winner starting on the right hand side. The pole winner will be the 'pace car' during this formation lap, the pole winner will be restricted to no more than 160kph. As the field nears the end of the formation lap, this speed limit will be reduced to 100kph as to ensure all cars are in formation as they approach the start.

To start the race, once the pole winner is on the start/finish straight he must call '3, 2, 1, Go'. If the pole winner does not call this out then the race will start once he crosses the start/finish line. Drivers must stay in position until after the start/finish line.

If there is large accident at any point during the race a 'safety car' my be called. The race leader will then become the effective 'safety car'. This will then give time for the track to clear and cars to be repaired. Once the last car has joined the back of the pack, they must notify everyone that the race can restart. The 'safety car' will be allowed to return to racing speed at ANY point between the final corner and the start finish line. Drivers will be allowed to pass from this moment onwards and do not need to wait until the start/finish line.

During the race, all competitors are required to make a mandatory pitstop for at LEAST TYRES. It is down to the competitors decision as to whether or not they require fuel or repairs.

Once the race leader cross the line at the end of the last lap then they are the victor. All other cars will then finish at the end of the current lap they are on.

To be classified, drivers must of completed 70% of the race laps. If a driver finishes the race but has completed less than 70% than the winners distance then 1/2 points will be awarded.
