DSRL RC: Season 7 Registration

Welcome all XB1 DiRT Rally players to Season 7 of the DSRL Rally Championship!

The season will begin on May 31st  and will consist of six rounds, each lasting two weeks (week added on for extra summer time).
Each rally in season 7 will include 12 stages and 4 service areas for checkpoints, car repairs, and tuning.  
There will be no power stage for season 7, but the teams championship will return after a good amount of entries last time out in S6.

This season we will be driving the 1980's RWD class cars!

Renault 5 Turbo:


Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500:


BMW M3 Rally:



Season 7 Event Schedule:

Round 1: Rally Greece: May 31st- June 14th
Round 2:  Rally Sweden : June 14th- June 28th
Round 3: Rally Germany :  June 28th- July 12th
Round 4: Rally Finland :  July 12th- July 26th
Round 5: Rally Monte Carlo :  July 26th- August 9th
Round 6: Rally Wales : August 9th- August 23rd

Stage format for each rally:
SA, ss1- short, ss2- short, ss3- short, ss4- long
SA, ss5- short, ss6- short, ss7-short, ss8-long
SA, ss9- long, ss10-short, SA, ss11- short, ss12- long


Team Championship:

The teams championship is optional to all season 7 drivers. Teams must consist of 2 registered drivers, both drivers must be registered in the same car to be eligible for a team.  The most combined points from the 2 drivers of each team at all events will determine the season 7 team champions. Don't hesitate to ask other drivers registered in the same car as you if they would like to be on a team!

Points Allocation:

1st- 25 points
2nd- 22 points
3rd- 20 points
4th- 18 points
5th- 17 points
6th- 16 points
7th- 15 points
8th- 14 points
9th- 13 points
10th-12 points
11th- 10 points
12th- 9 points
13th-8 points
14th-7 points
15th- 6 points
16th- 5 Points
17th- 4 Points
18th- 3 Points
19th- 2 Points
20th- 1 Point

Rally DNF's will not receive any championship points

Penalty Points:

No show/DNS and no prior notification to admins for missing a round of the championship: -1pt
No show/DNS for 2 consecutive rounds without prior notification to admins:-3pts
No show/DNS for 3 consecutive rounds without prior notification to admins: -7pts & gamertag recorded on poor participation list.
No show/DNS for 4 consecutive rounds without prior notification to admins: Immediate championship expulsion & banned from registering for the next DSRL RC season, gamertag recorded on DSRL RC driver probation list.


Important Info & Rules:

*Once the season begins (your first stage completed of round 1), registered car or team choice cannot be changed. You must use the same car/ be in the same team for all events this season. Car/team can still be changed up until the point the first stage of Rally 1 is run by the driver.


*We expect all sign ups to participate in all scheduled rallies as they are each going to be open for entry for 2 weeks. If you know you are going to miss a scheduled event we would ask that you message a DSRL admin/organizer and let them know before to ensure you are not penalized for it.
IF YOU THINK YOU ARE LIKELY TO MISS MORE THAN 3 ROUNDS OF THE 6 ROUND CHAMPIONSHIP, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP.    


*Existing DSRL RC Racenet league members from the previous season must re register for the current season in order for any rally times/ points to be counted. If you find yourself removed from the racenet league, make sure you are properly registered for the active season and submit a new request to join.


*Racenet may show a 7th championship round at Pikes Peak, you do not need to submit a time for this. It is merely to add a cool down period and allow admin to collate the season's info.


*In the event of tied points at the end of the season, the final championship position of competitors who finish level on points will be determined by whichever driver or team has more higher placed finishes throughout the season (most wins/podiums etc)  


*Points shown on the racenet site and in game are not shown correctly, please check here on the DSRL forum for the official championship standings once the season is underway.


*Number of signups is unlimited and registration will remain open to new entries throughout the season.


*As there is no way of the league hosts directly controlling settings such as assists, interior views, HUD etc. these will all be down to player personal preference. It is recommended to turn off all assists for optimum car performance however.


*This championship will be hosted and organized through Codemaster's Racenet, so an acaccount is required to enter. The sign up for This account should have been created when you first played the game and it can be easily accessed through the Xbox online browser under the "leagues" tab at the main menu. It is advised you become familiar with navigating the site and leagues area if you haven't looked at it already.


*Organizers may be required to force a regulation change at any point in the season if there are unforeseen issues with the championship format, this is unlikely but will be made clear to all who sign up if it is necessary.

Thanks for the interest, first dibs must go to my former team mate @John Gouzouassis as he did such a great job last season

Format for the upcoming season has been adjusted to now include 4 service areas at each rally to help improve car longevity as a result of another long stage being swapped in at SS9.
