Why don't you plan your route around the M62 if you know the traffic is bad?

I support what donny88 is saying. The standard of driving in this series has reduced dramatically. Get a grip guys or he won't be the only one who looks elsewhere.

Post by EpilepticToast Fri Nov 11, 2016 12:18 pm

I was under the impression that this round was more clean with the damage on, what happened to you guys (which race, any clips?) and who wasn't calling their moves out? Unfortunately the driving standard and crash avoidance in this league has been an issue since round 1 for some reason. I think most of it is down to open wheel + no brake lights and poor judgement, well I hope at least. Having said that, these cars are quite easy to drive in pcars terms and a few members need to practice their side by side/close racing skills a bit to get to the point where they can instinctively drive in reaction to the other car beside/ in front of them, instead of focusing on just their own car and increasing the chances of contact. You guys shouldn't leave, keep giving it a shot and call out anyone who isn't playing fair to stewards.
Also, I don't know how truthful the "I didn't hit you on my screen" claims are, but we all must remember random lag spikes are an annoying and common thing with this game, and this may also be a factor in some of the (hit off the track with no words or apology) incidents. From what I could hear for the most part anyone who made accidental contact yesterday was calling out and apologizing as well as giving spot back, so details would be helpful for who was being reckless in your eyes. Sorry you didn't have fun, hopefully Hock GP is a better round for you.

Post by DSRL Drift Fri Nov 11, 2016 12:23 pm

Last night we had very few accident and the driving level has increased from last week. We had very close racing and the incidents that did happen were due to lag and just pure racing incidents. Now we have turned damage on i think it will start to increase the standard of driving. Hopefully micko you enjoy the next round a little bit more.

Do you have any incidents in particular you would like us us to look at micko. Please send me a private message in the forum if you do. I though it was really clean last night. Il hold my hands up micko and say that i hit you once on race 3 on the first lap into the last corner but i tried my best to avoid contract and went right over the curb which made me spin and you carried on. That was fine by me because it was my mistake and i paid the price and thankfully didnt hamper you too much as you only went abit wide. If you do have any other incidents of anyone in particular. Please post them comments or clips to me via an xbox live message or a private message on the forum.
I belive last night was cleaner though than previous weeks. Just look at the video. The only contact i saw in the whole of race 1 was webbers hittng MrBiggles which seemed to be lag. And then him spiining off after the turn.
I think toast is right. It could be the car but could be that people need to be more aware when racing wheel to wheel.
I have spoken to donny888 and he is sorted for now by the way. Not just ignoring him haha.
Thanks.

wow really toast , thats how your doing it, I DISAGREE, awareness on the track is not the issue, nor the problem, although we can see blue flags n all. For the most part you heard n called out a few shout outs, which is fine. great.help out with your open wheel low awareness theory, but..... you are failing to see or hit on the point. i was run into. more than once. without a word until after the contact ofcourse. and when i just simply asked.what was up. ...was that necessary i think what i said. still no response.therefore i reacted with... well if i did that to you, you would be screaming right now.. then i was told yes because you are back there holding everyone up.. WOW.REALLY.. OH NO THEY DIDN'T. but yes, they went there. disrespectful big time. atleast they showed there true colors. so basically it all shows that who gives a f..k. he's slow anyway lets just run him over as quickly as possible.to get to the front..lol.. ok lets do this then. now that respect is off the table.

I dont think Toast ks being funny with you mate. Hes saying as a whole people need to learn spatial awarness, especially in open wheel cars as contact can lead to huge crashes. Hes also saying that beacuse of the nature of the car it doesnt help.but hes definetly not justfying someone hitting you off and calling you slow.
I agree with Toast that people need to practice the game as a whole. Otherswise turning damage on will solve nothing we are looking at the replays anyway. So leave it with us. Unfortunately we cannot determine who said those things and therefore we are sorry but nobody else heard it for whatever reason. We will try and stop this in future though.
