PRANCING MOOSE MOTORSPORT EXTEND DRIVER LINE-UP WITH GTE EFFORT

A249 HORSHAM BY-PASS, WEST SUSSEX, UK AND ANDERSTORP MOTORBANA, JONKOPING, SE

Following their own privateer programmes in the DSRL GT3 Endurance Championship and a joint effort in the DSRL 1000km of the Glen, B1200 and BigDtheMighty reunite as Prancing Moose Motorsport take on the 200km Championship in the GTE class.

In a surprise move, the Anglo-Swede outfit has also extended their driver line-up to include a third car which will be driven by BigD’s brother, Mykoo.

“Sibling rivalry has always been a key component in our lives,” said BigD, Director of Prancing Moose’s Media Liaison Squadron. “Retaining our core driver line-up, whilst also expanding to include a third car will certainly give us the best opportunity to build on our success so far.”

The team’s entry will comprise three Corvette C7.Rs, which will be participating in a preseason test down the Horsham by-pass, up to the Shell Garage at the Hop Oast Roundabout and back again in time for tea and medals.

The team have concerns that the new, lower 60mph speed limit on the A249 may be an issue for the shakedown, but they’re really hoping the V8 thunder will set off some car alarms as the ‘vettes go past Homebase and Tescos.

“Tea?” said Mykoo. “Will there be biscuits?”

“I’d prefer a coffee.” interjected B1200. “We don’t really do ‘tea’ in Sweden.”

Great to see another team sign up. Unfortunately the entries for the GT class are now full and will now be running a reserve list. Atomic was the first driver to register so his entry will take a full time slot. There are still plenty of spaces in the Prototype class. It should be worth looking at that as an alternative. The cars are not too dissimilar to the GT glass cars and will increase the competition in that class.

I have still entered the team in the current guise until confirmation at what you would like to do.
