Seeding Run

Seeding run.
To complete your seeding run, you need to complete a timed lap of the Silverstone National circiuit in Time Trail mode in the Ginetta G40 Junior car. Doing this in the Time Trail mode will ensure that all drivers are on a level playing field.

Also real assists will be needed to be used. You will only be cheating yourself come race time as you wont be able to drive it in the races as fast as you said in the seeding run. SO PLAY FAIR!

Once you have complete a lap time that you would like to submit, save the screenshot of the pause menu showing the lap time, the circuit, the car, and that it was completed in Time Trail.

Then you can either:
- Send it over xbox live to the gamertag aidtheace.
- Post in the section below a photo of the screenshot.
- Post in the section below a link to xboxclips.com
(Using xboxclips.com, find your gamertag, click screenshots, find and click on the correct screenshot, then copy and paste top URL into the forum, and send)
- Post the date and time you captured your screenshot along with your gamertag so we can find the result.

You will then be ranked, ready for the upcoming season.

So to recap.
- Set your assists to real in your settings.
- Enter Time Trail mode in game.
- Choose the car Ginetta G40 Junior.
- Choose the Silverstone National Circuit.
- Complete your best lap time.
- Take a screenshot.
- Send to an admin, post on the forum, or show us the link online.

You can improve your time with multiple attempts up until the 20th January 2017.

Stock stevie as you can only run stock within time trail mode.

Yeah its auto sets it to stock. Tuning will be allowed in the races but for this its just to gauge who should be racing who and ita fair this way.

You can do it a number of ways as seen in the top post mate.

I thought TT used tuned setup from Garage for a given track. Your not able to adjust tune in TT, but it's not default stock.

I think this maybe the case but im not sure its ever been proven. This is the only way to ensure its as fair as possible. If you do somehow get a tuned car in TT, and you make a higher division and then struggle in the races it will show.
We like to think that our members will abide by the rules and not force a tune into Time Trail.

If tuning is allowed in this series, why force a stock tune for TT. As you said, if someone is put In the upper division with stock tuning, they might be sorry when the wrenches come out. TBH, there aren't a lot of options anyway.

It makes no difference as its only a seeding to gauge roughtly were people are.

Hi Aid. Will do my time trial over the weekend. Just to confirm that it is stock just for time trial. Then we can do a tune for the races proper.

Yes thats correct mate. I think sometimes a tune can be used in time trail but for the interest of fairness we advise evwryone to use a stock tune. Just litterally jump straight into time trail and do some laps. Like I say. Its only to seed drivers roughly where they should be to make it better and more enjoyable for everyone.
Sorry for blabbing but yes stock tune in time trail, tuning will be allowed in the races to make the car more stable.

If you have adjusted your tune in Free Practice, that"s the tune you get for TT. Tune must be reset to stock in Free Practice.

annoyingly i did this below in free practice with a stock tune but the car felt slower in time trial by a fraction on the straights and could not get near it in time trial.

Unlycky dan has to be tt i believe or i want my faster time lol... no seriously though tt did feel slower think it was due to fuel load tbh. Seemed to get out of corners better with more fuel on
